What i'd like to see changed in Resident Evil 4...

Is the way your character can move. In the other games (although I haven't played Zero) they move kind of like robots. I'm sure that in this day and age they can improve on that so that you can control the character more realisticly. Just to be able to move in more directions without having to do a turn would be nice.

Yeah, I noticed that too in RE3. She couldn't turn directly around, she had to slowly rotate her whole body. That kinda made me angry, so I ended up blowing the zombies apart with whatever assault rifle she was holding :p

I kind of liked that, it built up suspense when you knew you'd have to slowly turn around to run away. If you were actually in that situation, you might be too struck by fear to move instantly, so it kind of simulates that for you.

True, True.

However it was hard to see that they were scared because they acted so wooden. I've been playing through my 2nd game of Resident Evil and it honestly looks like Jill and Chris don't seem to care that infected, rotten zombies, 6 foot spiders and the like have them trapped inside a creepy mansion. Although I guess you could say that they're THAT traumatised...

Better character reaction would be a good change too.

That I would agree with. Show emotions of the characters via face changes, gasps, taking a step back, etc.

I just don't like when people complain about the clunky controls of RE, saying they need to refine them and such. Sure they could make them better, but it's not supposed to be spot on precision, it's supposed to be hard to control if you panic.

If I was in that situation... there would be nothing slow about it :lol

Well I just meant that your hand wouldn't be as steady, you might be paralyzed with fear for a second or two, awestruck by what you saw, kind of thing.
