What's been up?

Work, kids, more work, kids and sick kids.

I've been getting home later than normal lately. Usually have about 20 minutes of game time with my kids.

Classes and Pokemon. I have been staying on top of all of my classwork; so I have been giving myself good time to train. I wish I had more friends with Pokemon; its hard to find people to evolution trade with.

Man.. I play this game darn near every chance that I get, I been whipped out the Dreamcast months and months ago, I got a custom stick that I use for the game as well. It's just not that MvC2 either, I've been playing other Dreamcast games as well, my next game is gonna be Grandia II cause I really need to finish that game.
I spent some time with MvC2 and then I finished my Dreamcast session this weekend with Capcom vs. SNK. Lori, King, and Yuri were my main characters. :D

1 year internship is beginning to come to an end. Need to sort out life priorities asap and figure out my next move. This whole "what do I want?" question keeps looming large.

But even so, life's pretty swell. January was rougher than usual, but once February hit it was like stepping out of a dark forest into the light. Melodrama aside, that's really what it felt like. Don't know why, but I'm not gonna question it too much.

Getting into Kingdoms of Amalur too, though it's running my PS3 through its paces. Might have to put the ol' dog down soon. If it goes, I think I'm done with gaming this gen. Less and less time for it as it is. Though I will miss BF3 a great deal.

Lots of coursework now; I'm in my final semester. I've been applying to jobs like crazy. I've probably got 20ish apps out now and have only heard back from two places that told me no. I wish others would at least get back to me, and my confidence level is pretty low after not even landing any sort of interview. The jobs I'm applying for currently are already not very high paying, and I'm going have to go even lower soon I think. Frustrating. Dunno what my problem is.

I have that game too but I haven't played it in awhile. I was planning on getting back on it but it's just not as fast-paced as MvC2. I do remember playing with Terry, Ryu and Irori, I usually did the single matches though. You play on a pad or stick?

I haven't played Tekken in a long ass time! I think the last one I played was 4. I been meaning to get the new one on Xbox 360 but just been busy with personal stuff and whatnot, eventually I'll get back into Tekken since that's one of the first fighting games that I really was into.

You need to get it for the PS3 :lol and then play me. Is it insane that I own and play a PS3? :D :lol

BTW... it's sad.... I posted more in the last 15 min than the entire board did in 2 days. IDK... Maybe I just need to let the rest of the site go as well.

Friday will be my husbands birthday. I am sick again...I am starting to feel like an anime character who I can't remem, ber the name of...I just know she would pass out a lot...from bloody noses I think...well, I am sick with fevers and feeling exhausted instead...but it still feels lame and frail and sickly. I have the kids here for the week :) :) :) :) They r on spring break. I am officially a canadian resident now! Finally! Oh, and also I might have to pay 800 bucks to the first responders that came when my husband flipped our car a few months ago, which sucks.

Ugh, I have no idea if I'm going to be able to finish up my senior year of school in Okinawa. My Dad retired early (and he just wants to get out) and so he and my boyfriend's parents are going to legal to see if I can stay with my boyfriend's family for my final year. It's really stressing not knowing where I'm going to live two months from now and having to rearrange plans for that. Not to mention these AP classes are driving me crazy. Thank God I'm on Spring Break. :lol

Still applying for jobs. My only real lead is being a security screener at the South Bend, IN airport. Not the best entry-level job, but the career path is one of my favorite and I would be getting my feet wet.

Well yeah, but your post count is HUGE. :lol

I'm applying to IU med school histotechnology program.

My new job is way better than my old job. I am just having trouble getting used to being a morning person.

Well I am finally entering the modern age. My CRT flatscreen Panny has been good for the times I had with it. In the past year or so I have had to stuff folded pieces of paper around the audio video inputs to help retain the sound in the speakers. Many times I have had only one speaker going. Even the paper has not helped at times. There has been recent frustration while watching something and getting up maybe twenty times and smacking a particular area on the set to get one or both speakers. The bright setting has been maxed out meaning that the "tube" days are numbered.

I am going to eat a baloney sandwich and then run out to Walmart and pick up an entry level 32" Vizio.

Now my reputation in my name as "retro" is at stake and questionable. :lol
