fhqwhgads said:Ditch the $100 wireless adapter, add in $10 worth of ethernet cable, ditch the charge kit, buy rechargable batteries, ditch the HD-DVD player entirely. So, yes, more expensive if you buy a ****load of stuff you don't remotely need for that price. Otherwise, it only becomes more with Live.
It's more of a normal 360 and a downgraded PS3.Strubes said:Sure, if you want a downgraded 360, it's cheaper.

No, I'm saying the 360 is a downgraded PS3, in that they play many of the same games, but standard 360's lack many of the PS3's features.Strubes said:Downgraded as in....having built-in wireless, a ton of storage, four USB slots, SD card slots, Surround Sound plug-in, Blu-Ray, and free online......oh...are you talking about backwards compatibility?
It's not downgraded, it does the exact same things as you listed(bar HD 'cause it lost), but for cheaper.Strubes said:Sure, if you want a downgraded 360, it's cheaper.

I got a battery pack and quick charge kit for $20. I wish Microsoft would just include it with the 360, but isn't too expensive to get a rechargeable battery separately.
I agree. There is absolutely no reason for XBL to be anything but free.
