What's the deal with Camelot?

Is Camelot a third party developer or is it a second party to Nintendo? I know they made the first Hot Shots golf games for Sony but then they started making Nintendo a bunch of stuff and now I haven't seen them make games for anyone except Nintendo:

Golden Sun 1 & 2 (GBA)
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour (GC)
Mario Golf (GBA)

Their games are always top-notch, too. I wonder if they will make a Golden Sun for the Gamecube? That would rock.

well... maybe its one of those developers that have silently switched to Nintendo :)

:crazy

not sure though!

I was never a big fan of camelot. I loved their GBA games, but I never liked their 64 games. I loved the GBA Mario Tennis, it was one of my favorite games, but I hated it for the 64. Unfortunatly I bought the 64 one and only rented the GBA one, not very smart on my behalf.

YEs... I don't think that is a rumor mai... I think that Goldensun is being planned.

I couldn't imagine Goldensun on the Gamecube.. that would be PERFECT! Especially if its not a 3d style game.

Stealth, you didn't like Mario Tennis on the N64? That game was one of the best N64 games... it really showed of the graphic capabilities as well (IMO)

Never played Mario Tennis 64, but I did buy Mario Tennis for the GBA once on a flight to Florida and hated it. I dunno if i'll bother with Mario Golf on the GBA either. Combining a sports game into an RPG with Mario characters just doesn't blend well for me.

Mario Tennis was fun if you had 3 friends to play with you, but playing the computer was pointless. The rallies were always the exact same, and it always came down to whoever ran up to the net first for the smash. Otherwise it was just back and forth to the same corners. They really needed some AI tweaking or just get better gameplay, add a little variety to the rallies.

Well, if they make a Golden Sun for the Gamecube, I want cel-shading, no random battles, and voice-acting. Turn-based battles are ok, as I am not sure how summoning Djinn would work in the context of real-time.

I can't decide whether I'd rather see the original Golden Sun and GS: the Lost Age remade into one game (which it was supposed to be, but was too big for ) on the GC, or if it should be a totally new Golden Sun, a true sequel, or perhaps a prequel.

Right now though I'm pretty content with Tales of Symphonia.
