One of the coolest oldschool systems ever made. In fact, they were making games for it up until last year. It came out in 1993.
Basically, it was an Arcade system. And instead of just arcade boards, they made carts so you could play MANY games in 1 machine.
Well.... they applied the concept for their home system..... and had arcade perfect home games.
Snk's Neo Geo started off MANY well known fighters:
King of Fighters
Last Blade
Samurai Shodown
Art of Fighting
World Heroes
as well as cool shooters such as Metal Slug...etc.
Its definitely a cool system to own. ITs all 2D.. but its a powerhouse. Warning.. if you are thinking of getting into it.. its a tad expensive compared to other systems.
