when do yo all go back to school?

Heh...not in my house you wouldn't be able to take no break, or you would be thrown out the house. :-\
 
we only get 2 weeks off after each term, we have 4 terms and 2 Semesters though after the fourth term its 6 weeks off

Start of the year
Semester 1,
Term 1:
29th of January - 2nd of April
-- 2 weeks holiday --
Term 2:
19th of April - 25th of June
-- 2 weeks holiday --
Semester 2,
Term 3:
12th of July - 17th of September
-- 2 weeks holiday --
Term 4:
4th of October - 17th of December
End of the year
-- 6 weeks holiday --
 
Are you in university or something? We've only got 2 semesters.

We don't get any time off for that, except one week where you write finals, and if you don't write then you get the day off. But there's no time off before or after that.

well... I did attend the University 4 years full time and 2 years near full time.

so I needed a break.  Not to mention, I didn't take a break coming out of HS (like most people)....

I don't know when I am going back.... but I need a break for the brain to rest.
It would be so bad if I didn't have a second kid on the way, and I have to work right now to pay bills, and insurance..etc.
Thats what it comes down to.  If I was single, no responsibilities except school.... I would have no problems.

but I work Game Addiction, an accounting job, raise a family, spend time with the family...etc.
Basically I get up at 8-9 am.  I work from 9-9:30 am till  around 12:00pm-1 am.

Of course... there is breaks for breakfast/lunch/dinner.... about 1hr and 15 minutes for all eating times.
And we have family time were we play board games for an hour or so before the kid goes to bed.

Beyond that..... its all work  :-\
I used to fit 2-3 classes in there as well.  Talk about STRESS!! But Game Addiction has now taken over the school time. I am working to launch it better to provide an income so that I only have to work the 1 job..... Game Addiction.

Well, I just got back from my first day in college, so far it's going good.. except my Calc professors have annoying voices.. so that's going to give me less intuitive to pay attention. I don't need to be doing that :-\
 
Me too Scythe, me too...

As much as I don't like school, I'm actually kind of excited for this year. It's gonna be my last year of grade school, and I've made a lot of friends, so I think this year's gonna be pretty fun. Even so, I am gonna miss sleeping in until whenever I want, every day, and taking things at my own pace.
 
Ya, I had to go register and get my schedule today and such, which really turned out to be a pain in the behind. Long story short, I was there a lot longer than most people. But, all in all it wasn't that bad. My first semester kinda sucks cuz I got 2 sciences, 2 socials, and an English, and in my 2nd semester I have Math C30 and Calculus as my two last periods of the day, which is gonna be brutal.

Ugh, I take back what I said before, lol.
 
you know what.... I might be going back to school today or tomorrow (1 week late after the Semester started) to IVY Tech..

I might be getting paid to go for 1 year for my A+, Net +, and MCSA...... which will then lead me to get my MCSE.

hm.... This has happened within the last 4 hours :lol
