Hello Esteemed Members,

On a scale of 1 to 10 (1=Little Tolerance 10=I Don't Care As Long As It Plays)where would you rate yourself with respect to scratches on used games discs?Myself,I'm inclined to say 7.I know it's damn near impossible to find a used game with no scratches, which is why I chose this scale.

God Bless,
Kaz

One time I bought a Viewtiful Joe at gamestop and it was so scratched it didnt even play. So yeah it sort of pisses me off.

Put me down as a one. >:(

::D But I do remember that time when I ran across my copy of "Lunar: The Silver Star Story." It was used at a local Gamestop, but it was totally complete and everything looked in top shape except the first CD, it had scratches on it. When I got it home I found out that the scratched disc would not load. I refused to take it back! I got it at a bargain price. I got me one of those things to clean off scratches and it worked. But that is an exception. :)

Depends really. If it's a lot of small scratches just due to normal wear and tear then that's fine. Circular scratches that run parallel to the disc's edge are a big no no for me, though. Same goes for label side scratches.

i actually did inadvertantly buy a scratched game once.. from FX ( >:( mega) and brought it back the next day, those hoes ( >:( mega) charged me $3 and 24-48 hours to do it...do you know how far i live from FX? about 20 miles!!! i was PISSED!

I used to live in Whitney dude. It would take me 45 mins to travel and another 45 mins back to FX back in the day. ( >:( Phoenix)

P.S. What year was that?

P.S.S. Speaking of disc...Where's my Deth Album? :lol

Godspeed,

I'm definitely a 1. I have pretty much no tolerance for it. It's not hard, but you might have to look around a little unless the game is rare.

I'm going to play the fence and say 5.

I don't like them to be heavily scratched, but I don't mind some light scratches, either. As long as it plays it's not a big deal. Some of my own games have gotten scratched so it's not like a disc is going to stay pristine forever.

Put me down for about a 5 it depends on how much its scratched. If it plays fine then eh scratches mean nothing, BUT if its so scratched it doesnt play nerd rage is imminent.
