Which game?

Yeah, but I think this proves just how late actual publications are now thanks to the web based news outlets. There is like no more reason to actually invest in magazines

BTW, good thing that through the library and galegroup system that some game publications are actually available (if only they would make having images a requirement)

well nintendo power has other funny articles.

I used to have a Nintendo Power Subscription but it was heavily overshadowed by my Nickelodeon mag and my favorite, EGM. EGM seemed to have better image quality.

But I loved Nintendo Power's excessively brief review system.

EGM is just pathetic. I'm starting to wonder why you turn everything into a one-sided, factless(on your part) debate where you unsufficently back up the stupidest comparable choice.

Honestly, there are tons of magazines, no where did I indicate that EGM was the best or anything. I like EGM cause of images, you have your dislikes. That was totally an uncalled for thing to say.

Anyway, for online news, I would choose Gamespot over any others for they seem to have a nice selection of the actual business and company news (rather than just announcements) and such.

I turn to EGM because they haven't failed me yet...and helped me choose an awesome game recently with their review. That, and it was free (lucky I hopped on Joystiq that day for the free subscriptions. :D)

Why judge a magazine on images rather than information?

And didn't Gamespot fire the K&L reviewer 'cause he said it was bad? Does that not prove what I said in my previous post?

Honestly, I didnt really pay attention to any of the gamespot reviews names or even the people who write the posts or anything. I love the images, when I buy a magazine I like to look at images. The reason why I have EGM, Nintendo Power magazine from like 2002 is that its nice every now and again to go through and browse at the images (plus they are good for school projects).

They may have nice information, rumors, and reader mail, but ultimately the images is what I like in a Magazine. PLUS usually for reviews, I like to go to genre specific sites, not magazines (apart from brief, like 200 word or less summaries) or even large media sites.

Play is the best looking magazine as far as layouts and image quality. But, they suck recently, IMO.

To the topic at hand, I was hoping for something a little more earth-shattering, but, considering how awesome the last Castlevania game I played (Portrait of Ruin) was, I'm still pretty happy.
