Which is the BESTTTT?

I'm looking into getting a new system... I'm not really a hardcore gamer i just need something to keep me busy for a little while. I've narrowed it down to the 360, PSP, or the original xbox. I know the PSP isn't really in the same category with the other too but it looks freaking awesome and i wanna try it.

I think the PSP should do the trick , especially if you get Hot Shots Golf and some of those other games, it should definently do it (I play it more than my crummy DS Lite). I like the 360 but it is really for those that are super hardcore (by this I mean people who can beat one game in only two days on all three modes!)

Wii, but since you don't want one of those for some crazy reason out of those 3 the one that sucks the least is the 360

I'm not too fond of nintendo. To me nintendo's choice of games are just boring. I mean theres a few out there that i like but most of them are too directed to the younger audience.

I think im gonna get the psp... i didn't think i should get the 360, because that will be a lot of money for something that i might not even play that much. I just want something that will occupy maybe a couple of hours a day.

Don't waste your money on that piece of shit PSP. It's seriously a waste of time.

If you ever go handheld - go Nintendo. I'd highly recommend DS, but for some reason it's not an option.

So out of those three bad choices, I guess I'd have to suggest 360.

360. Since you can have most of the original Xbox library and 360 games at your disposal. The PSP will definitely occupy you for a couple of hours but it won't be around as long as the 360. Basically it can end up being more of a waste of money than the rest.

If you really want one, I recommend finding someone who has one to try it out first.

Ok its not an option because i hate nintendo. The only nintendo systems i will play are 64 and SNES. All the rest have a lot of games that i have ABSOLUTELY no interest in buying.

Then something's wrong with your head.

The Nintendo DS has a HUGE library of amazing games (getting bigger by the week).
PSP? Dead in water. Don't bother. Nintendo has, is, and always will own the handheld market.

Furthermore, the N64 rocked hardcore. Good choice bro.

I've played one before and i really like it. And i like the selection of games that it has now even though most people don't. I'll probably just get the psp and wait a little while and buy a 360 afterwards. The only reason i through the original xbox in there was because i can find one really cheap and it wouldn't be a hassle.

I agree that nintendo will always be the best at handheld gaming. And i agree that they have a huge library of games. But IMO the game choices are far short from amazing. I had a GBA SP for a few months and i loved it. But it seemed like every game choice had to do something with Mario or something for kids. And i'm looking at DS's games and i see the same stuff.

Sounds good then. Enjoy.

Then you're looking in the wrong direction bud.

Do NOT buy a PSP.

If you desire to talk about the DS in a more personal fashion and get suggestions from me, im me at Kureishima on AIM.

If you are fully behind the DS then what are some reasons I should buy it. The PSP is just much more appealing to me.

You go first bud. What's so 'appealing' about a floundering system?

It all comes down to what seems to be the better choice to me. What i'm looking for is for you to give me some reasons why I should buy the DS, I'm not trying to argue with you that the PSP is better. I never once even said it was better. I said it looked better to me. And i haven't played the DS so i need to know some pros and cons. I'm just looking for a new system.

I'm leaving the house right now, but I'll give you an essay later.

But I need you to answer some basic questions:

Favorite genre?
Favorite gameplay style?
Music important?
Innovation important?
Graphics important? To what extent?
And any other pertinent infromation you cna think of. The more information you give me, the better response I can give.
