Sony announced the new 40GB PlayStation 3 will launch in Japan on November 11, for 39980 yen. The 40GB PS3 will be available in Black and Ceremic White. The original models of PS3 will receive price drop on October 17, the 20GB PS3 will be 44980 yen and 60GB PS3 will be 54980 yen. The first 200,000 people who purchase a PS3 in Japan after October 17 will receive a free copy of Spider-Man 3 Blu-Ray video.
