Who do YOU want in the new Super Smash Brothers?

Sonic was because of obsessive fanboys, Snake was because MGS creator was friends with Sakurai.
 
Knuckles, Tails, and Shadow would be awesome additions to go along with Sonic. I don't think that's too far fetched, when some people are like "omgz maztr chef shood b in iit"

It's too far fetched when you consider Tails is an AT, the Sonic games were lucky to get one rep, and two of the three listed suck.

Obsessive fanboys? You could say that for any Nintendo character in the game as well. It doesn't matter how they got there. I was just stating that third party characters ARE in the game, therefor making your logic, illogical.

A few years ago some would have said Sonic and Solid Snake were farfetched.

So who knows, maybe the next Super Smash game will have some of those characters.

Sonic and Snake are two of the most popular characters around, which is why they were put in the game. Characters like Lucas and Sub-Zero aren't anywhere near as popular, or well known as Snake, and Sonic, so I doubt we'll be seeing those two in the next game.

Eggman may be possible though.

Mario was the least voted for returning character, you told me that. Biggest series, too. Not to mention, you seem to forget Smash is primarily a first party series, be lucky you got as many as you did.

It's not unreasonable, it's true we won't get multiple Sonic reps.
 
One of the worst Sonic choices and one that flat out won't happen.

Also, you're right. No multiple Sonic reps will be in THIS installment of SSB.

Have you ever seen Knuckles? He relies heavily on punches. His move set would be perfect for SSBB. Besides the fact that YOU don't like him, he'd be a great fit.

Yeah. I'd honestly rather see Knuckles than Sonic.

And his specials would be? It's fine you can give him some standards, but let's try and not have a Luigified Sonic. I'd prefer Tails over Sonic just because of the potential.
