Why does everyone underestimate Nintendo?

I know there's been a lot of discussion between the first post and this one, but I want no part of it. Rather I shall answer the initial question of why a lot of people "underestimate" Nintendo.

The Gamecube. Everything about it. The marketing, the games, the lack of online, the look, the controllers, the memory cards, connectivity... practically everything. I lost a lot of faith (and money) on that Nintendo system, and it has single-handedly left me a jaded cynic of their products. Understimate? Possibly. But given my experience with the company, I think caution is warranted.

I was pretty disappointed with the Gamecube too, in almost any manner. It still had some good games, but it was just overall a big mistake on the part of Nintendo.

@Jack, your inbox is full. I can't send a message to you.

I cleaned it out. It's empty now.

Seriously though, PS3 will have good games because of who its predacessor was. You don't have to like PS2 but you gotta admit they had a motherload of good titles.
