Wii/DS Connection, Can someone help me?

This is driving me crazy, i can't figure out how to connect my wii to me DS. I've read through the manual, I've lookied on Nintendo.com, I jjust can't find it anywhere. Does anyone here know?

Why exactly are you trying to connect? Do you have a game that has this functionality?

Can you not just test it? I'm just trying to make sure everything on my (secondhand) Wii works

Nope. The Wii will only send a signal out if there is a reason to. "Testing" purposes won't do it. You have to find a game that has this functionality. That's why it's in none of the manuals.
 
I think pearl and Diamond connect to a wii game, but i dont know what its called
 
Geometry Wars: Galaxies DS can connect to Geometry Wars: Galaxies Wii, and Pokemon Diamond and Pearl can connect to Pokemon Battle Revolution and Pokemon Ranch. Also, when Everybody's Nintendo gets released, you'll be able to transmit DS demos/movies from the Wii Channel into your actual DS, like an up to date DS Download Station at home.

Pokemon ranch?

I am not sure I understood the last sentence about the Wii Channel into the DS. There is an update coming out that will support this:?

yeah, eventually, people will be able to download demos to their DS from their Wii instead of having to go to a kiosk.
 
Yeah, it's only out in Japan for now. Same with Pokemon Ranch. Ranch is WiiWare.
