Wii May Adapt Demo Idea from 360 and PS3

I'm going to subscribe to Nintendo Power after I get my second Wii, so I would welcome the idea of demo discs being included, like Microsoft and Sony do with their magazines.

I'd do it earlier, it takes a few issues(months) for you to actually start getting them. The discs would have to be free, and if they were smart, they'd make the downloads free...or cheap as free.

Just like they'd be idiots if they tried fitting it onto the Wii, right?

that has nothing to do with what we're talking about, nothing at all. your just trying to cause trouble, and i've had enough of it. enough. drop it.

So, talking about demos in a demo discussion is wrong? I'd hate to see what's right then.

You're the one who turns it into one. You just said it'd be dumb if it wasn't free after saying it was a dumb idea until Strubes said he liked it.

Guys. Come on now. It'd be nice if they were free, which if they make the demos, they will be. They obviously wouldn't charge people for demos when their competitors aren't doing the same.

That would pretty much be charging if you had to buy an SD card, just Nintendo doesn't make money, you just lose it.

Well once the Wii starts getting a bunch of games, you'll be forced to buy SD cards anyways, because of all the save files. I think Demo Discs are the best way to go about this.

That's assuming you buy a lot of games. How much does the average game take up now?

besides, if you erase the channel from the wii menu, you can download it again for free so i don't think space is a problem

But there's people who take advantage of the Virtual Console games...which take up space. Unfortunately, if you want to have a great library for the Wii some day, you're going to have to blow more money on SD cards.

Well the same problem Mega was having...is he got a bunch of games...and ran out of storage on the Wii, forcing him to buy an SD card.

Yeah, he got a bunch of those. If Nintendo was serious, they'd allow more space or include an SD card of some sort. If they have so many good games on the VC that they know people are going to gobble up, think before that and make a solution to limited space. We are kind of getting off topic though. Let's talk the possibility of demos. What games would you like to see it for? Most of the games that purely consist of mini games would be hard...because if you find that's the only mini game you like or something, you would either waste $50 on a new game or just play that on the Demo.
