Re: Miyamoto's next project: Wii Music
Um...no, not really.

Starrynite said:I cant wait to play this especially if it bolsters a music library of the best 350 songs of Nintendo games, arrangments, rearrangements, remixes, and vocals of the songs as well. This could very well be the best game that Nintendo could every finally make for the Wii. I can not wait any longer! This is what made me buy my Wii
Starrynite said:Im sorry but if someone is dead wrong then their idea must be stopped in the tracks, Im not trying to sound like a mean old grinch, but i cant let the guilt of seeing someone beliieve in false and incorrect idealogies thrive. The game is gonna not be awesome, im sorry

And saying Miyamoto is just another video game creator... lol...... I don't even think you have a clue who he is.
Starrynite said:The last time I purchase Mario Title or Nintendogs and such, I clearly didnt think that I was buying it because some part of its idea process was created by Miyamoto. Sure the guy may be well know and respected, but he isnt the almighty echelon of gaming goodness and such.
Just because you havent played something doesnt mean you cant have an well founded opinion on it. Based on what is seen and known, it is now fact that the game has a lot to do in order to impress consumers and try to get them to purchase it for what it is, in all its flaws and its innovations.

Has anybody played it? No.
Starrynite said:Well through a process of deductive reasoning, exploration through comments, and the basic knowledge of knowing that nintendo's past games never include robust libraries or music, it stands as a testament that my previous kill-joy filled statements of glee had to be negated to reflect the oppression that Nintendo has caused to my dreams of this game.
Nova said:It doesn't matter where you pulled your reasoning from. You haven't played it, therefore, you can't judge it reasonably and expect anyone to follow your opinion here.
I give the guy props for trying to appeal to people who don't normally play video games. Hell, it's one of the reasons it hit off so much.
The problem is that Miyamoto thinks that he's not alienating hardcore gamers, when he really is. Nintendo hasn't pulled a popular new franchise in over 4 years (IE Pikmin) that traditional gamers want. Metroid Prime 3 was a hit and all, but he needs something new.
As I've already said, Audiosurf is already the best music game in existence. You can't top it.
