Well, it has definately suffered the redicule of the American public, and I personally would have rather left it as Revolution. But the theory behind the name and references to positive words in several languages was rather clever. And I am sure Nintendo was prepared for this kind of backlash when they announced the name. I'm assuming they did it way ahead of time so that people would adjust to it and, for some people, maybe start to grow on them.
As far as all the rediculous jokes (which are old and stale by now), I imagine they'll pass in time at least for the most part. But we could always talk about the other names. For example, how creative is Playstation 3? Or XBox 360? I mean, if you turn 360 degrees, you end up where you started, don't you?
A name's a name. I guess I've gotten over caring about it.
