Wii Stock Dates?

Caedicae

Snapzilla is on my side
Fortunately, I'm one of lucky that got the Wii right when it was launched.
However, my brother was not. We've been checking a good number of stores online for available Wii's, and also checking lists for when they will be in stock in stores.

As far as checking back as often as possible on online stores, they go too quickly or are priced 500-600, which he isn't going to pay for.
The lists we have found, are almost all 'should be' in by etc. None seem to be sure-set. I've been calling every store around that will/are selling the Wii, and they never seem to have a set guarantee that they will be in, or if they will be able to store one for you either.

So I'm wondering - Do any of you know of any lists that are being updated with accurate dates and stores where they will be sold, or any good suggestions for online stores to check in with?

We've still been going to stores at 5-6 AM before they open, but so it seems, have other people lol
Always a nice line, it's actually pretty neat to meet people who want it as much as you do. You know you have the same liking for something.
Even though... I have seen some people ahead go in, come right back out and offer it for 4x the normal price.

I'm thinking patience may just have to be the solution. But who wants that, srsly? ;P
If anyone could give any information, that'd be uber awesome. Thanks!

Well you could always do what I did, ebay. But, not all people like ebay. I'm a friendly person, so I make friends with the people at Wal-Mart and EB Games, so I can find out when the shipments come in. Wal-Mart usually knows when they get them in, so if you stick around Wal-Mart for a bit and get friendly with the employees, then one of them is bound to tell you when they come in. As for EB, they don't know anything about getting Wii's in. They just have estimates, so you're not sure. So you're best bet is Wal-Mart and if that doesn't work, ebay. The prices actually aren't that bad on ebay, I've seen the Wii for as low as $275 on ebay, which is cheap for the internet when Amazon wants $500 for it. That's about all I can say, good luck.

The way everyone I know got a wii (basically the only way to get it at list price) is to constantly call every single store near you that would carry a wii. When I was searching for a wii, I was calling Circuit City, Best Buy, 2 gamestops, an ebgmaes, Toy's R US, and looked around online. I did this for like 2 weeks. But I spent my money and didn't have enough for a wii so I stopped looking. Good luck though and prepare for a high phone bill. :D

Nintendo's fiscal year ends on the last day of March, so I would expect that most stores will restock the first week of April.

Haha yeah, calling stores is wai fun. I've been trying out my town and my brother's town for stores, I'm probably not as repetitive enough about it as I need to be though.

I did consider Ebay, however when I had looked they basically looked like they were the same price as other places.
And, I was a tad anxious buying one from people, "Will they pack enough bubble wrap?!" But that is an option..
I'll go check it out right now. Thanks :)

Yeah, I did read about that. They said that for Feburary and March also, and it didn't last long. But it could be a chance!

Here's the deal... I might be able to get one through a supplier, but they make you take a few games with it. If you are interested.... I might be able to score one, but you'll have to buy a few games too.
