Wikipedia....Strubes' way!

Bv, why did you post a link to an Eathbound site? Also it still looks the same but revised and added links.

where?

and yes.. it is the same... exept I added the links and right side table... plus a little background info as to what category it was in...  and the submission was accepted.  It just needed a little info and that background category info.  Besides that.. yup... it's pretty much the same as what strubes did :)

ARgh.. it needs more cited sources.... Who did the citing so far? Good job :)

In your previous post you posted a link going to a popular Earthbound fansite. I dont understand why you posted in here.

to show you all an example.... I think... :lol

WE still need some more citing.... good job to whoever did the 3 citings so far!

I think for this part right here: "There are over 1,000 members, growing content, and notibility on the Internet making it one of the most popular and reliable sites on the internet"
You could use either the forum's total members or Bv's ebay page with all those good feedbacks. ;)

Edit: I dont know what to put for this part: "The site is continuing to be upgraded and expanded."
Or we might have to revise it a little more. Also, think we could put up an image of the site there?

ok... I added a few other links in there.

... and they STILLL are asking for more citations... :lol ?

That sounds like a good idea .... lets use the statistics page as well.... do you want me to add... or someone else want to help out on that one? maybe the more IP addresses that contribute make a difference as well

I had added those link you did but I took them down 'cause I wasn't to sure about it, had to get some opinons first. I think that notation is still going to be there until an editor comes and checks it out again? You added a crap lot of links too! :lol

Edit: Yeah I think adding the forum stats and the website stats would be a good idea. I think the forum stats has more hits though.

the forum stats are the only publicly available stats anyway :) Just and FYI though... we get about 2 million + hits per month... and it's increasing.

That would be a good idea for the forum stats... yes :)

When I got done editing the page... that message didn't pop up anymore. In fact, it wasn't there all night... then it was again this morning..... I Don't get it honestly.. I don't think it has to do with them checking it out again.

:lol man... hopefully we get this right :)

I just noticed a few other edits... there is YET ANOTHER citation needed :lol

um..... it says that it is unsure if the article fits in one of the categories.... I wonder how we can get it to fit into the "web content" category.

And should the name be egameaddiction.com ? OR should we just call it game addiction? I'm thinking egameaddiction.com is sounding good right now.

I changed a lot of the citation to be more vague and less specific, as that's what I'm good for.

It's starting to look better.

good job sartori... and everyone else....  it seems that they still want edits and all. It's crazy that Wiki shows the IP's of people who edited the article... that seems a little unsecure, no? Man... a lot of people have contributed to this :)

There is 1 area of citation needed at the end of the description.  Honestly, I am not sure how to prove that.
growing content, and notability on the Internet; making it one of the most popular and reliable sites on the Internet.[citation needed]

Hm....  How do we cite to prove that?  Maybe we should eliminate parts of that?  Or maybe reword.

†B†V† :hat

Yeah thats what I mentioned earlier just revise it and make it pretty with fancy words, etc. I dont know how we can prove that.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half-Life_Fallout

Maybe we should try to get it a little more like this?

:lol make it a little more organized... and put histories of the Forums and store... in 2 seperate sections.
BUT... make both sections flow (word wise) together. :lol

Choices, eh?

The reason you cannot cite that is that it is not true. You must use evasive language in order to propel yourself past this particular puzzle.

Exactly. Instead of saying "making it one of the most popular and reliable sites on the Internet." just say "making it a very popular and reliable website." and then cite it with the amount of hits this page gets in a day or something.

Maybe we'll try that.  IF you want, stealth... go ahead and put that up there... I won't have time tonight.
I know it only takes a few seconds.  If someone hasn't done it by the AM... I will be on it 1st thing.

This site will be a large popular site someday.     ;)
