Isn't PSU coming out for the Wii? If it is, I'm going to say PSO probably won't work online on the Wii. If it isn't, well, then its just a matter of whether Sega wants to put effort forth.

Well I checked google and gamespot and if it is coming to the Wii, it isn't confirmed yet.

Well, part of the reason for that is Xboxers paying for XBL do NOT like the idea of an extra monthly fee. Many of the more casual gamers expect to be able to play them all for their $60 a year.
Yes, I know the GCN version had a fee, but those players thought differently about it because they were not already paying to play the GCN online. You get what I am saying?
But, the Phantasy Star series is large enough it will find a fanbase on any console.

Since the Wii is online... and the Gamecube Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1, 2, and 3 were all online.. can we go online with the Wii while using the Gamecube connection on the Wii and play PSO online via the existing service that I pay for?
yes... this is the only RPG I'll pay for.. and I even don't like paying for it. I might quit paying, but I want to get back online with it again.

ok... I tested out PSO 1/2 PLus on the Wii today With the Gamecube data card with the Sega Online portion.
It won't let PSO connect because there is no Modem or Broadband adaptor in Com 1. I just tested it out for myself
SUCK!!!
I wonder if there is a way to get this accomplished on the Wii? Seriously... there should be a way. I Doubt anyone will attempt to do it though. which SUCKS..
