Wireless controller for Ps one?

Likely not. I plugged my PS2 controller into my PS1 just to se if it worked, and no dice. I think that although they look like the same design, the wiring is completely different.

no, he was talking about using a ps2 controller for psone games

and what? i use my ps2 controller for my psone in the living room all the time and its no different...

I'm not sure. He'd have to clarify. I think the same as Dart...I think he's asking if a wireless PS2 controller will work on a PS one with the games and such, and in that fact, I'd say no. The PS one didn't really have wireless technology.

Yeah, I think you can. I use my PS2 primarily for playing Psone games and the wireless controller (I use the one made by Logitech) works fine. It just doesn't use analog or rumble, so it's all moving by the d-pad.

Nah, he was asking if you could use PS2 wireless controllers on the PS one console.

That's weird. I have a blue Logtech controller that I use for racing games on my PSX, but it doesn't work on my PS2, and once just for giggles I tried my PS2 controller on my PSX, and I am almost certain that it didn't work. But it's been a while.

Yeah, I've tried bringing one of my PS2 controllers to a friend's house for his PS1(yes, he just got a PS2 last Christmas) and it didn't work.

Playstation and Playstation 2 controllers are INTERCHANGABLE.

The main difference between the Dualshock and the Dualshock 2 controllers is that the Dualshock 2 has 256 stage pressure sensitive buttons.

A Playstation controller can work on a PS2 and a PS2 controller can work on a Playstation.
