Yay!

Because it took 18 days for Verizon to get the DSL line running in my new place, I got not one, but two months credited back to my account. On top of that, I got them to drop the price of my service a bit. Yay!

According to speedtest, I'm getting 2.87 mbps download speeds and a ping of 26 ms to Kalamazoo, Michigan. It's not too bad for a DSL 3 mb plan... Either way, I'm just happy to have broadband again and not be paying more than I have to be!

Already compared price, and no, they can't go cheaper than my current car insurance.

They can't go cheaper without reducing coverage, anyway...

But yeah, yay for broadband!

What does everyone else use in terms of ISP/'net connection?

ATT DSL Pro (3.0 Mbps)

They have 4 different DSL packages, from 19.95 (768 Kbps) to 35.00 (6 Mbps)

Hmm... Makes me rethink going up to Pro just to double my speed for $5 more... But nah, I'm happy with what I got.
