I saw it last night with SpartanEvolved and MasterMario's sister.

It is an okay movie as far as it's worth a night out with friends. On its own, the story does not really hold well. The action and effects are adequate. The acting is alright. The story just is not really good though.

Overall, it's kinda "meh".
 
I too thought it was really underwhelming. I thought the story was really strange.
Really didn't like how Pitt ended up being like some god-like character that lived through everything no matter what. :-\ That really turned me off.
 
I heart World War z was nothing like the book, which made me not want to see it. I bet the story would have worked k with the book.
 
Interesting that you've said it was underwhelming, I've only heard good things from my friends but there taste in movies is pretty shameful sometimes lol
