Hi just wondering if anyone knows why Gambet wasnt in any of the films. In my opinion he was the best character apart from wolverine. Will be good to see him come back in the film.
 
Is there going to be a 4th movie? He may be in it. I was never really into X-men, isn't Gambit the one with the plating cards he throws at people?
 
Gambit wasn't really in the X-men till way later as far as the comics are concerned. The studio just probably wasn't interested in his character.
 
Not sure why Gambit wasn't in the movies. I wanted to see him too, oh well.

I don't think they are going to make a 4th "X-Men" movie (though they did leave the door open for Magneto to wreak some more havoc), however I have heard that they will be making a "Wolverine" movie.

Well I claim no responsibility for this but this is what I've heard from fan boys and online leaks.  The X3 movie was the last one that the studio had paid for so if they wanted to do an X4 they would have to shell out big bucks for it.  What I have seen online though, is that there had been talks of another movie with the story fallowing kitty rouge and bobby and introducing gambit as a character.  The "villain" for this movie is not gonna be magneto but insted is Sabastan Shaw and the hellfire club.  Now this is what I have read but like I said all this is gossip I  have read online and I lay no claim in X4.

I've never heard of that extra movie involving kitty, rogue, and bobby, but I am pretty sure that they only wanted a trilogy out of the X-Men movies. They are doing a spinoff movie for both the characters Magneto and Wolverine.
 
I think it almost time to make a all marvel film. All the heros like spiderman, x-men, fantastic four, silver surfer, hulk, captain america and daredevil ect. Cost loads to cast but i think it will make alot. Alot of people would want to see it.

Gambit came pretty late in the comics, so I would expect the same in the movies. Also, as a part of the franchise his popularity has dropped off a loooot in the last 10 years, so there's no reason to really feature someone like that. I haven't seen him in the comics in a long time either.
