Xbox 360 FULL List of backwards compatible titles (prepare to rant)

I completely agree with you.

Even when I heard "major titles only" I cringed. Looking at this list though, I really thought they came through.
 
Some of the odd ones on that list are because games with the same engine were made to work, so the odd ones just happened to work as well.
 
just to remind everyone, they'll release a newer version of the emulator.... so more games *supposively* will be playable.

I tried playing Fable TLC on the thing and it locked up on me (That was the ONLY freeze up I've had on my system so far) So I'm just going to stick to playing regular XBox games on the regular XBox :)
 
No rant here. I will buy an Xbox, and maybe a 360. Backwards compatability isn't a huge concern for me being that I have a PS1 and PS2, and I never play my PS1 games on my PS2 even though it has that capability.

I do think it's great that Microsoft responded when their fans wanted that feature. It just strikes me as odd to only make a partial list. Maybe it was difficult to make the 360 hardware read Xbox games?? If that's the reason, then fine. I just think that if a console has backwards compatability, then it should be full compatability...
