This is the first Ive ever heard of this actually happening. UK modders beware :mp :shame

I think the big reason he got all those penalties was just because he was going out and reselling them.....otherwise it wouldnt have been so bad if it were just him using the xbox.

well.... he put roms on the drives... I am guessing that is really what did him in.

I don't see how Modded a box would be illegal... except in this case the mod allowed you to copy games to the drive..?

I thought you could already copy games to the drive though...

You can't copy games normally, no. But modding the Xbox is "piracy", that is why it is illegal. But truely, it isn't likely you will be punished by the law for doing it...
