Xbox problems, issues, malfunctions...who has had them?

Ya, dust seems to be a really big problem with them. As long as its off the ground is should be fine, but every once in awhile a good dusting might solve some of the problems you guys are talking about.

I don't think it would help with the Xbox Live problem. As much as I'd love to blame dust, I don't thik that makes much sense.

FYI, you can always buy brand spanking new disk drives since 99% of the time thats where the problems come from. If your Xbox has a Thomson drive just face the facts, it's gonna malfunction. So, you can either A, have it fixed for about the price of new xbox, B, buy a new xbox and take the risk of getting another thomson, or C, take action and buy a new, quality disk drive. Now, you may be thinking that changing a disk drive is this huge, complicated ordeal, but truth is it takes about 10 minutes and it's very simple. I got lucky, my Xbox has a samsung drive but I still get ircked knowing when you buy an xbox you may end up with the crappier of the 4 drives ms uses.
