FYI, you can always buy brand spanking new disk drives since 99% of the time thats where the problems come from. If your Xbox has a Thomson drive just face the facts, it's gonna malfunction. So, you can either A, have it fixed for about the price of new xbox, B, buy a new xbox and take the risk of getting another thomson, or C, take action and buy a new, quality disk drive. Now, you may be thinking that changing a disk drive is this huge, complicated ordeal, but truth is it takes about 10 minutes and it's very simple.
