BV, have you gotten your demo yet?
I'm still waiting on mine. They emailed me about a week ago to let me know it was on the way, but they said to allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
What do they send it by that could take 8 weeks? Horse? :lol
You know it's funny but after I posted this I got my demo in the mail. Now I shall play it and pity all you simple mortals who don't have it yet. Muah ha ha!
Ok, I really won't pity anyone. That was just me being silly. But I will definitely let you guys know what I think of it.

It's weird to go back to the controller set-up for Metroid Prime after playing Halo. I'm used to using both analog sticks for movement. I have to relearn the Metroid controls.

Yeah I've played my demo. It's pretty cool. I didn't get very far before I died, but that's just because I suck. I'm still trying to relearn the Metroid Prime controls. They are really unusual when you're used to Halo. Using the right shoulder button for aiming and all. But I really enjoyed this one part where you're in morph ball mode. It seems like it's even faster, almost like Super Monkey Ball! I need to play some more and at least get to the part where you're in the dark world, so I can try the light beam on the bad guys and see what it does. Heh.
The other stuff on the demo is pretty nice, too. The art gallery has a ton of stuff, and the thing on the history of Metroid is pretty cool, too.
