Neo Geo CD your first neo cd game?

i was just remembering my first cd game that i got and played, and how it brought me to the world of neo cd you could say. what got it all started for you.

my first game was magician lord, and i remember being mostly impressed with the graphics and colors of the neo cd. than i started playing it and thought it was simple up until i played past level 1. then the difficulty sunk in and i could hardly handle it.
so i could say that magician lord showed me the ways and power of the neo geo cd , and ive been impressed with them since.

My first game was KOF94, because the place I got my system from included that game with it. The next ones I got were SS2 and Super Baseball 2020, which I got from BV's store, IIRC. I've picked up a mad amount of games since then, and I've come to the realization that the only way to stop the addiction is to eventually get every single game I'd ever possibly want for the thing :D

SS2 was my 1st.... along with wind jammers.

Windjammers was too addictive ::D My friends and I couldn't stop playing it.

In fact, we still play it a lot today when we get together.

I got an almost complete set of NGCD games with my system when I bought it...too bad they were bootlegs..

But anyways I had played pretty much all of them before except a few, and the one new one I got that really had me pumped up was Iron Clad..I still love that game, maybe one day I can get the original and do away with the boot.

Samurai 3 was my first CD game. Before playing it on CD, I had never played it in the arcade, so it was a great experience the first time.

At that point in time - 1997 - I marveled at how wonderful the Neo CD system was, because of the sound, the same as AES games, and most of all, the price!!!

In fact, when I returned to the Neo some years later after a long time away, I purposely set out to find a CD system because of those items. Once I spent some time looking around, the CD didnt seem good enough for me, so I ventured into MVS and AES.

Funny, but I hate to admit it..... I bought into the hype of load time issues. Frankly, the load time issue is a bunch of bologna.

Fatal Fury 2 and Special
Samurai Shodown 2
Art of Fighting 2

GameAddiction was the store that provide me with those first magic titles for me.

I can´t describe how I have enjoyed and now I´m enjoying with those games.

Fatal Fury Special was the first game I played in my new Neo-Geo Jap.
I really love Fatal Fury saga. 14 years have passed since the game was released, and I can´t stop playing it.

This fantastic Neo-Geo games or a bit nostalgia, but Neo-Geo wins in the battle versus those companies with modern technologies in new consoles.

Rising tackle!! ;D

Yes, I got it :)

Well, Sony have demanded so many stores to stop selling Psp systems. "For sale in Usa/Jap only". Europeans must wait till September to enjoy our Psp system. Very shameful >:(

About "Rising Tackle", that expression have been used by many non-online spanish magazines when Fatal Fury saga appears in Neo-Geo, around '91, '92.

:D

When I first bought my Neo Geo CD-Z (in 96 or 97) I got both Metal Slug 1 (US) and Samurai Shodown 3 (US). I loved Metal Slug in the arcade so I broke down and bought one. I was suprised to see that the arcade version was censored compared to the home version. First Neo-Geo game I played was Magician Lord on an arcade MVS.
