While Sega-Sammy notes that Suzuki has "retired" from his role as Creative Officer of the AM Plus R&D department, he'll still have some influence at Sega.

Oh you know, games like.....OUTRUN....AFTERBURNER....SPACER HARRIER...VIRTUA FIGHTER SERIES......and SHENMUE.....nothing BIG or important....*tries not to cry*....

Oh man, I know! The sequel we'll never ever get! Part 2's ending was about as climatic as Back to the Future Part 2 for godsakes!
 
Hopefully they will still be able to make games. Sometimes people like Yu are the heart of a company.
