It looks like the release of GTA: San Andreas got pushed back a week.

somewhat sad, yes, but it's not like it's a hl2 pushback or anything, a week is fine, there's plenty out by then to get anyway
 
I bet tons of people were mad when they read that GTA:SA got pushed back. Well anyways, what ya'll think about this game anyways? Is it going to be the best GTA of the seris?
 
I think it will be. There's lots of new additions to the game, and being 5x larger in size than Vice City (which was twice the size of GTA:3, making SA 10x bigger than 3) will be cool. I always hated the enormous load times for GTA:3 and VC on the PS2...
 
No-one really knows if there will be many new additons to the game until an official review comes out. I'm not excited until I see one to be honest.
 
I read a 3 page preview of it, which showed screenies and told all the stuff that's in it. Either way, I have the game pre-ordered.
 
i know there is swimming and bikes now. i'm not sure, but i thought i heard you can get a gang.
i don't need many improvements, like a lot of a games, new things to do is all that i need
 
Yeah, you can eat, swim, rob people in their homes, excerise, get tatooes, and get haricuts. I read that from some site that was only focused on the GTA seris, really good site but I forgot the URL.
 
Not out yet, sadly. I need to call GameCrazy (where I preordered it) to see what's going on. Their website says October 19, but everywhere else I see it's the 28th.

Well, there have been TONS of new stuff confirmed by Rockstar President Sam Houser about it!  Here is a small list that was in the latest EGM magazine:


Bicycles
ATV's
Swimming
Robbing Homes
Playing Blackjack, Video Poker, Slots...
Eating
Exercising
Getting Haircuts
Playing Basketball
Modify any ride in the game by tweaking paint jobs, rearranging the front bumper, rear bumper, exhaust pipes, spoiler, and rims.  You can also install nitrous!


This game is going to be HUGE!   :woot
