All purpose Halo thread

One point, that sucks man. Bad for MM too, getting knocked out in the first round.
What were the rules? Doesn't matter what they were if I had played, since I would've been kicked out of the tourney just for showing up. I'm not very good at Halo for Xbox...
 
i got screwed over because we always play with generic weapons............they set em to custom........but i did get a triple kill with the shotty to almost get me back in the game
 
Yeah, custom weapons suck in alot of levels. MM got stuck in BG with plasma pistols. I did too, but I managed to get a regular pistol :D

But MM is alot better with the pistol than any other gun. Ecspecially the PP, which is rarely even on the maps we play 95 percent of the time.
 
I should get XBC and the three of us should play sometime. I would, of course, get completely pwned in the game, but it'd be fun for a little while.

Only problem is that I don't have my Xbox anywhere near a computer... Actually, they're on opposite sides of the house...
 
I have a 50' cord that works enough for me. It's already up in the ceiling, so I just need to put the Xbox there ("there" meaning at the family tv and surround system instead of my bedroom, 7" 1984 tv) and plug it in.
 
Tonight I played some 4 player splitscreen at a Halloween party I went to. We set up some funny games.

A surprise hit was what we called "Melee." Basically, we just used melee attacks with no shields on smallish maps like Wizard and Battle Creek. We had some newbies playing who hadn't quite gotten aiming with regular guns down yet, but they were able to do melee attacks pretty well.

We also did Rockets in Hang Em High, which I really enjoyed.

And another good one was "Road Pizza" in Blood Gulch, where the point was to get the most kills with either the tank, the warthog, or the ghost, preferably by running the other people over. It was fun.

I can't wait for Halo 2!!!
 
I played "Bullfighting" on Friday with two of my friends. It's basically 400% health + shields, shotguns, and unlimited grenades. Played on Sidewinder, 2 people, "bulls", get warthogs and try to run down the "bullfighter". The catch is that all three contestants must stay on the ice where the map bends. If one person's knocked out of the warthog, the bullfighter can't shoot them.

That's very amusing to do.
 
I just got the game tonight. I havent play story mode, but I did get a chance to play some multi with a friend that stopped by. It was a lot of fun and we played for an hour or two. Im going to start the campaign soon. It seems like a sweet game. I cant get used to driving, but I really like the controls for moving.
 
Hey everyone, I started campaign mode. Its very fun. I didnt like the warthogs before but now that I got used to driving them, I like them alot. Right now Im on the "Library" level. I wish there was a way to use bots for multi, other then that I really love the game.
