I used to drink chocolate milk, with a little "Southern Comfort",that usually helped. :lol

Happy New Year,

Though the thought of drinking milk the night that you're drinking may sound terrible, it's my miracle hangover cure. I usually drink alot of milk after I'm done drinking...and my stomach's fine the next day.

That, or back in Bartending School they taught us to buy a bottle of Bitters and take a shot of that after a long night of drinking...it usually clears everything up.

Hi Strubes,

I guess the perfect drink for you would be a "White Russian"! :lol

Vodka and Kahlua with a little bit of creme? It's alright...not my fav though. :lol

I always thought that milk was part of it.Then again, some bartenders kind of differ in exact mixes.

You CAN use milk as creme...if you're making it at home, you'll use that, but they use creme at the bars. It doesn't spoil as fast as milk, especially since the bar nozzles on all their bottles are open...the milk would spoil quite fast. :)

But yeah, last night I had a few Kahlua and Cremes. :)

I didn't go over the top though.

I guess because I am not of age, I havent experienced this phenomenon known as "hungover".

me neither, but i discovered yesterday that i think i am kinda allergic to alcohol or my hatred for it makes me sick because for the first time ever i was soaked in champagne (hispanic people + new years = showers of champagne that i stay far away from) because of my sister who dragged me over there >_<, only the smell made me hurl.... once i went on-line and discovered alcohol could be absorbed by the skin i ran to take a shower with lots and lots of soap....due to dizziness i fell before even stepping into the shower, lucky for me it was carpeted floor (it happened outside of the bathroom) so no big injuries, but definitely i think i will stay as an spectator in the world of alcohol, specially because all of my family members are funny drunks (but that also means i will be doomed with the title of "designated driver")

Either drink Gatorade in between drinks, or drink it when I already have a hangover. It's mostly due to the fact that you're dehydrated. If you want to take it a step further you can drink pedialite.

I usually drink water before going to sleep. I have actually never experienced a hangover. I have experienced the "blahs." Usually if I do drink too much, I feel lazy the next day.

Hi Zidart,

"Hangover 101" (From my passed experience)

1. Pounding headache at base of skull and neck
2.sour stomach with moderate heatburn
3.Vomiting
4.Fatigue
5.A promise to God that you will never drink again, followed by the sensation that you are about to die.

Cures:These posts

Ew why would you do it again and again if it makes you vomit?! Cant you drink like those fancy drinks and champagne and not have to go through the vomitting and sour stomach and fatigue and pounding headache.

Hi Starrynite!

To answer your questions:

1.I'm an ex-alcoholic,before I quit a long time ago,all that was on my mind was being drunk all day. When you are low on cash,or the liquor store is closed, you will tend to settle for whatever works, such as Mouthwash,Vanilla, along with a fine variety of Aqua-velva.As for the fancy drinks, they cost too much for the little buzz they offer. :lol

actually if my driver's ed teacher is correct, most of those fancy drinks have more alcohol than a can of beer, so i prefer pepsi/coke over any type of alcohol anyday (and i have to get the glass of soda myself, i don't trust drinks from other people.... even friends and family who have made me try to drink through those means but luckily i didn't fall in petty traps)

@Zi, you are correct sir. Fancy drinks are stronger than a normal beer.

*takes a sip of his Kamikaze* PHEW! You don't want none of this buddy lol

exactly Starry, even the lovely margarita made with Jose Cuervo Tequila (served on the rocks) will bring you down quicker than a T-Rex.
