Well I guess I wont take part in those drinks when I turn 21... =/

look at the bright side, you will be able to remember every party you go to.

I just wanted those drinks because they look so cool and would be more impressive than just soda and juice, and they have frosted salt or sugar on the top of the rim, and you get those cute umbrellas in the drink too :)

Ew why would you do it again and again if it makes you vomit?! Cant you drink like those fancy drinks and champagne and not have to go through the vomitting and sour stomach and fatigue and pounding headache.

It actually doesn't make you vomit unless you really, really drink as MR. KAZ has pointed out. Honestly, as long as you keep yourself hydrated throughout your drinking you won't get as drunk or experience nasty hangovers. I've personally never have vomited from drinking. The trick also is to know your limits and pace yourself. What I do is I drink until I get a nice buzz going and then just maintain it by slowly drinking. My friends make fun of me because I nurse my drinks, but I don't get trashed like they do and end up doing something stupid.

Nothing wrong with a drink here and there. In fact certain alcohol is good for you in small doses. Just know your limits and you'll be fine and probably never experience a hangover.

I learn so much from you all, lol.

Its going to be so weird when I have that first drink...you all are so experienced.

I recommend starting off with drinks that have low alcohol content, like Wine Coolers and then slowly move up the ladder. Then as your tolerance grows you can start drinking the really nice drinks.

One more thing, make sure you don't drink on an empty stomach either. The alcohol will hit you much quicker than you expect.

well back in venezuela i usually went to a restaurant where i asked for Juice without alcohol but with the same decorations, i don't see how it is impossible for other restaurants to do the same (and i personally prefer chocolate milkshake when i go to olive gardens XD).

i wished more people were aware of their drinking as creepindeth, honestly i laugh at those who make fun of others for being responsible with their drinking (or lack of drinking), that's another cure for it acording to my sister XD me laughing at her while she is experiencing a hangover makes her so mad that she wants to get out of her bed and smack me

Ah, yes. Also known as virgin drinks. If you ask for a virgin anything, you'll get the drink without alcohol. But not all drinks can be made as virgins though, so keep that in mind as well.

thanks i'll keep that in mind, at least knowing the english translation for those types of drinks helps me, and i will ask twice if the drink has some alcohol once i order it or are they supposed to tell me that without even asking? (right after i ask for a virgin drink)

Depends. If you're at the bar and ask for it, they'll make it in front of you and just hand it to you. If you order at a table, they usually mention what type of drink it is in order to get it to the right person.

if i was you i would start with wine coolers as...uh...creepin said
then drink beer

then after a while go ahead and drink some like...oh...

idk

vodka maybe?...just a thought

but one thing
If it says tequila, jaegermiester or goldsclager ...stay away it is not your friend

So I cant start with any of those fancy drinks at most casual american restaurants as my first drink? It would do me bad?

Not necessarily. You can start with one of those drinks, but because you're still not really aware of your alcohol tolerance, you might get drunk much quicker depending on what you order. Which could result in a bad hangover or vomiting. But then again, if you take it easy, it shouldn't be too bad.

I say if you really want to, go for it. But drink it nice and slow.

In moderation, these are awesome. Except for Goldschlager, that is just nasty.

I recommend two shots max of either tequila, Vodka or Whiskey. More than that and they are definitely not your friend.

Suck it up people. Goldschlager isn't that bad! I love it!

I like how it's designed with the gold flakes which are actually placed there to help open up tiny slits in your throat so the alcohol can get to your blood stream faster. Sounds really bad, but you don't even notice it. :)

Goldshlager taste like crap. Although, it's not as bad as Wild Turkey.

Goldschlager is sex in a bottle. It's awesome. :D

Wild Turkey isn't too bad either..though I don't prefer it. I don't really have an alcohol that I don't like...cept rubbing alcohol. :lol
