personally i dont think it looks great at all. theres nothing to do that hasnt been done before, kill a few people, steal a few things, and run on walls.

i really dont get its popularity

Its an open world adventure game that can best be described as PoP+Splinter Cell on steroids. Isn't that enough for you?

Actually you did, as the title is "Assassins Creed, what do you think?" not "Assassins Creed, what do you think? (everyone except Spartan)." :p
 
Honestly I haven't been following it that closely. It looks gorgeous, but I'm not sure if it's my kind of game. I'll have to watch some more trailers.

It isn't exactly a multiplayer kind of game. I would expect some replay value problems, but that really doesn't take away a ton from the game, simply because it looks so great. :o
 
Yeah, it does for some people. I love The Darkness, easily one of the best campaigns and storylines I've ever played. But there isn't much to do once you've beaten it all the way through... Which is what I think this will be. A blast the first time through, okay the second, and meh after that. A rent at best.
 
I'm kind of hoping for no multiplayer feature with this game. I think it'll be a great game for the story at least. Although we don't know much, let's hope for a great story to go along with the game play and beautiful graphics.

In the end, I think it'll be one of those games that you'll just have to own. I'm not saying anything about how it will be, just what I think it will be.

iv beaten the whole splinter cell/pop series

iv had enough

and steroids are bad
 
I still think this game will disappoint. It is very hyped up (it was like #3 most wanted on Gamespot a while ago) and they aren't setting up to deliver.
 
YES THIS GAME IS SICK AND YOU PEOPLE NEED TO BUY IT the gameplay it great and the graphics ahh yes those graphics most beautiful thing in assassins creed
