hehe ya all of the pictures are markers with the exception on my last post with the 3 pictures in it there watercolour pencils. I only got them for x-mas which was the first time that i used them i thought it would be a bit harder my only thing i can't get around very well is getting ride of the pen streek marks when i a do a large area. The wip pic i posted im going to colour with markers as well which will be a bit more of a challange tho

Ive finaly finished the picture, A friend gave me the idea of using Shibuya crossing as a background. I did already try something out but ended up not liking how it was going, while i was looking for different pictures of Shibuya crossing i came across a great photo of just the legs of people still give the idea of busy, so i thought i would use the idea and this is the end result of it.

Let me know what you think im pleased with the out come of this picture. =) -hehe picture not take with a camera this time as you can prob tell-

as always it is amazing and the background reminds me of the world ends with you ;D (which is in shibuya)

Oops sorry zidart and gamingmaiden i missed your commented =) Thank you for your comments, hehe ya it sort of does remind me of the world ends with you -wasn't my intention tho =)-

I think this is prob one of my best pics ive done in quite some times, im loving using markers at the moment

here is my newest picture, it has its issues, i really like how the girl herself came out but the water....well as you can see i had a few issues. Ive never really done anything like that with markers and i found it really hard.

the only issue that i have with it is her face, she scares me a little bit :lol

however everything else is great, i liked the detail you use for the scales.

I think the water looks fine! I immediately knew it was water before reading your post. Really good job :)

Thank you =) hehe i think its here eyes that makes if slightly scarey =), i love how the scales came out to the scanning sort of dulled them down tho

Thank you =) the water was really hard at first i thought i had ruined the picture but i kept going and it turned out quite well -sort of lol-

Thank you =) i liked her face too i think its the way that i coloured it as well that makes in look slightly better than normal, and i love how her eyes came out

New picture, done in markers again =) i love using them at the moment except im still not great with big areas i get streek marks which is annoying. Anyway this time is a gypsy girl dancer all comments and crits welcome =)

Can't really see anything to critique, it looks great! The marker streak is not bad at all and honestly if you had not mentioned it I would not have even noticed. By the way, what sort of markers and paper do you use?

This picture frustrates me! How do you make marker look good? :lol

I color in marker... it looks like a 3rd grader attempt :) Of course... I only color with my kids, but still!

Thank you ~huggles~ Prehaps im being to hard on myself with the streek marks =) Hmm i use mainly Letraset ProMarkers and a few Copic Markers, as for paper is pretty thin, its bleedproof makrer paper

Lol Thank you =P ive only been using markers since the beginning of this year really, i used to colour using watercolour pencils and even tho its markers the way i colour with them is pretty much the same i seemed to pick up using them pretty welel
