agreed. This drawing makes me think of the saying "beautiful roses have thorns"

Here is my newset picutre ~sorry about the colours the stupid scanner seemed to fade them they look better for real~, i like how it came out, my only real issue is the background ~i hate backgrounds~ and here hands, god why are hands so hard.

Funny thing is, even before I read your comment about the hands, I was gonna ask how much fun you had doing the hands :D I know, hands are absolutely one of the hardest things to get right! I've almost destroyed entire drawings because of stupid hands lol. I think this one looks awesome and I looove the background. What issue do you have with it?

You're right. Hands suck! That's why I always draw hands with closed fists. Much easier for me. :p

The slight problem I see with the hands is that there is too much separation between the fingers. Also, they're not proportioned. They seem to big for her. What you could have done was raise her arms a little, this way her hands would have to be drawn smaller.

Overall though, very good job! :) Especially the trim on her blouse.

I haven't posted in a while prob cause i didn't want to finish this picutre but knew i had to

NOTE: OMG THE SCANNER KILLED THE COLOURS, THERE IS MENT TO BE COLOURS IN THE CLOUDS WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED

Another OC Characters, i started doing this picture in watercolours years ago but never finished it, so i decided to re-draw andi t and do it in markers.

The out come is....hmm ok im not usre i like it much i think the big i don't like the most is the water i think that it eneded up being to dark.

Done with fineliner, copic, letraset promarkers and tria, white gel pen.

These are very awesome. And I belive the detail you've rendered with the markers comes out more vibrantly than with pencils. Though, I believe you should experiment with a little of both together, if you haven't tried it already. ;)

i like all of your work and this one if no exception. Amazing =3 i like the style of her clothing and the colors of her hair

Excellent excellent work! And I know what you mean, I hate scanners, they always ruin the contrast of drawings. Anybody you know have a nice digital cam you could borrow? And is this up on your DA? I think I will favorite it if so :)

I have a digital camera i might try taking a pic and seeing how it comes out -i didn't really try with the first few posts-, and yes it is up on DA =)

Here is my newest picutre, sorry about it been taken by camera my scanner is being gay -keeps killing the colours like on the last pic i posted- I think it looks slightly out of focus i couldn't get a decent photo of it, ill try again n post another one if i get a better one

Nice! I really love the background you done on this. It really adds a lot to the entire drawing. Good work, Aya.
 
another great drawing, as is been said the background but what got me on this one was her face and the way she grabs the flowers and her dress.... it gives her a feeling of authority, she is serious but sophisticated (of course i could be horribly wrong XD)
