Buying a PS3.

Get, um, an Xbox 360, Gears Of War, Bioshock, Project Gotham Racing 4, Dead Rising, Call Of Duty 2. Oh, sorry, you want rubbish games, right?

There's that one game that should be on PS1... um, Resistance. And then there's that one that's like Burnout but with really overrated graphics and less carnage or even variety, Motorstorm. Then there's all those good exclusives like...

...

...

...um, Metal Gear Solid 4?

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

But don't let that put you off. PlayStation 3 is the one console that will get rid of those pesky kidneys. After you sell them to buy one, that is.

Dude, the kidney joke was used many moons ago by yours truly. The PS3 crowd is immune to it now. :lol
 
final fantasy versus XIII is gonna be an action RPG or something like kindgom hearts (i read it on wikipedia and im not sure anymore if they tell the truth :lol)
killzone 2, and of course MGS4.

Hines will go get every console so he can have all the great games of this generation. (I think he just doesn't have the PS3 now

I personally can't wait for LittleBigPLanet. Seems like a possible goty for next year.

well the ps3 and the 360 are good consoles, fanboys just love to talk about the bad things of the other consoles (and i thought i was a nintendo fanboy).

i don't have either a ps3 or 360, i wanna buy a ps3, but just because i don't like the 360 means i'm gonna start talking @#@ of it, being a fanboy is ok until you cross the line that way.
 
I think it's on amazon that there is a deal on 60gb ps3's. They are coming with motorstorm...or maybe it's the new 80's. I don't know. Check around. Save some cash :D

Maybe not so much. What Hines is saying is what I try to say...stuff that falls on fanboys' deaf ears. If you're a lover of games, and a true gamer, try all the systems out. Don't buy one and say how much better it is than the other two, because that just isn't true. One sells more than the other? One can do 50,000 different things? WHO CARES! You buy the system for the games that are more appealing to you, and for a true gamer, each system has those games. 8)

The PS3 is a great system that stands alone in its own merit. :)

There's still nothing that interests me in the PS3, and the price remains a turn-off.

360 just got Blue Dragon, so the ball remains in their court. :-\
 
I just don't see the point on wasting something that I generally don't have a lot of (money) on a system with few useful functions that aren't done better on hardware I already own, or could own, and a games list that looks pathetic in comparison with it's father (the sexy PS2 ladies and gents, which I wish I hadn't sold). I'm thinking about perhaps purchasing a Wii, but several of the same problems exist there, minus the massive price tag of course. And I take that back about the George Forman grill - the PS3 is neither lean, nor mean. 8)

Edit - I might get a Gamecube and get my PS2 back...
 
If you don't have the money, don't buy it. Plain and simple. That doesn't affect the quality of the games at all. You can dislike the price, but I don't see how you can dislike a system for that. Also, the gaming library is small in its first year Samamir...it's like that for every system. The PS2 had the same problems as well.

thats fine, if you cant afford it, no one has a problem. but if your bashing it because of the price or because its made by sony then you are a true fanboy
 
:( i hate to admit it, but what you say it's true, a true gamer cares of the games not the console they are.

:-\ but you know i don't like overall the games of the 360, and to buy a console for the few games i like, is kind of a pain for my wallet (and part of my parents), however i do know that the games on the 360 are really popular and good they just are not what i looking for. guess i'll never be a true gamer :lol
 
My parents quit buying me systems at sega...Since then I've always saved and bought my own. Then when I started working I was buying what i wanted when I wanted...glad I'm not under my parents rule anymore...woo
