There hasn't really been any discussion on these games lately. While they're mainly on the arcade scene, there are home verions of both DDR and In The Groove. SuperNOVA for the PS2 was just recently released, with SuperNOVA2 well into development. It's also coming out on other consoles, but PS2 is where the DDR home scene has always been.
In The Groove is, essentially, a ripoff of DDR. However, I find the songs much more enjoyable, and the difficulty is much higher in comparison to DDR. It also has hands (where you have to hit three or four arrows at a time instead of just two), and mines (if you hit them, you lose points and drop a bit on your Life Meter).
There's also the discussion of pads to use on these games. So, does anyone else play either of these?
