Does anyone NOT like Halo?

Well, speaking campaign only,

CT>PT=SC

Really, I didn't see that much improvement in PT over SC. The graphics were better, but the core gameplay was the same. On the other hand, CT has loads of improvements. The graphics are easily the best of any game this generation, plus great physics, a decent plot, and tons of gameplay improvements (the knife, customized load-outs, EMF vision, and so on) and you have got a winner.

IMO, the series is doing great so far. It seems to take what was wrong or bad about the last one and fix it. Look at the difference between SC and CT. Huge!
 
Halo1 was realy good and interesting until you play it like 30 times and also until Halo2 came out.... now that over rated Halo 1 and was a lot longer than Halo 1 and has better graphics. Such as The vechicles in halo 1 dont blow up which that was allright because you didnt have to make sure you were in some giant warthog explosion. ::)
 
I don't hate Halo, I simply think that it's overrated. I've played it many times, and I simply don't see what all the fuss is about, especially when there are games like Call of Duty and Half Life 2.
 
I'm only getting it (the Xbox) because of all the fuss over the halo games. If I don't like them, I know plenty of other games that are worth while on the Xbox as well.
 
I don't really know why, but I don't really like realistic military games much. They're just not my thing I guess, that's probably why I like the Halo series so much.
 
there are no milatary games that can really let you feel what its like to be at war.....the faces still haunt my dreams....and i think to myself...."why do they come to me to die?why do they come to me to die......

In all fairness, those games came out well after Halo did, and they were on the PC which gives them a great advantage in the control and technical spec areas. For its time Halo really was a forerunner of games like HL2 and CoD. I still thought it was pretty bland and would rather play CoD any day, but that's mostly just because I prefer the subject matter of CoD.
 
It doesn't matter, because I don't have an Xbox. I was just saying I would rather play those games than Halo. I guess people have simply beaten all the good out of the game.
 
I always play Halo still, like um, everyday! It's fun to just pop it in and screw around on the different levels. I almost never play Halo 2 though.

That's a bold statement. I should go try out Perfect Dark. In my opinion Goldeneye was an amazing game even if there are better games that have come out since then. It's awsome in it's own right. As for Halo not existing because of it? I dont know about that. Im sure we would still see Halo.
