Does anyone NOT like Halo?

Ya, PD was far superior to GD, but it did come out several years afterward and built off of the same engine...

I've got a PC gamer friend who said he hated Goldeneye because Quake came out before it and was what Goldeneye was but like 10 times better or something. I think he's on crack.
 
Oh yeah Goldeneye was freakin' awesome and still is. I admit I was one of the original detractors of Halo until I really played it, then I became a fan. :D Now I have both games.
 
You haven't played PD creep?! I'm amazed! That is easily my favorite N64 game of all time! Goldeneye, Conker, SM64, Mario Kart, Starcraft, all great games but they still can't compare to PD!

I truly think that you should try to get it, and 3 friends to play it with. The effect might not be as great since the N64 is dead, but you should have a blast.
 
when I first played Halo, I wasn't convinced, but once I became more skilled the game began to grow on me

then when Halo 2 came out... I had no doubt how good the halo series was

Believe me the experience will probably still be the same. Now that I think about it Im kind of kicking myself for not buying it at Toys R' Us for $8. Another thing that kind of turned me away was that I needed that extra RAM cart. For some reason I never bought it plus I owned Goldeneye so I really didnt want to give it a chance. But yes I will play it.
 
PD was fun.

Back on topic, I haven't really played the Halo games since I beat them till recently. Cause yesterday I got Xbox Live and I let it download maps all last night so today I'm having alot of fun with it again. :)
 
56k? try again dudes, 36.6k, I not kidding. But this is just my old pc, the family has a better one upstairs. I actually get connect speeds of 47-56kbs which isn't unbearable, but close. I've tweaked all the formatting and what not so it runs like a 56k, I just don't get much drive space which is fine. I will get Broadband this summer as I will have steady work again. Kinda sucks cause' I'm on the pc the most out of my family so I basically got the word that if I want Broadband I have to fully pay for it, it's not that expensive is it?
