Final Fantasy Crisis Core Discussion

I have it. It lived up to basically every expectation I had. I admit, I am still a little confused on the battle system, though I am sure they meant it to be rather simple, but that is about it. It is beautiful, you do get to play a new game, and you in a way get to relive FF7 but in a new way.

yeah so i started a new game in FFVII and watched Advent Children a few days ago. i think i am loving the FFVII universe again, and it feels good.
 
i was just thinking of how cool it was to see him as a person, not some evil entity. to see him with his friends having a good time. i think that is my favorite part of crisis core so far.

Yeah, exactly.

I'm close to the end now, I think. Once I finish it I'm going to watch Advent Children again. ^_^

you're such an adorable fangirl, you know that? So adorable, that when you accidentally burp, you burp sunshine and the theme to Final Fantasy 7 I bet. :lol
 
Well I finished this yesterday. The credits are really long, btw.

The ending is hard to describe. I think it would have been worse if I didn't know what Zack's fate was already, though.

You get surrounded by soldiers at the end. And the thing is, if you did the missions, there was a mission where you fight 1000 soldiers, and I managed to get through that, so when I saw the soldiers at the end, I was like, "Oh, I could totally take them." I even still had a Phoenix Down effect on from summoning Phoenix a few battles back. But of course it's written in history that Zack dies, so even though you may be kicking butt, you still die. :(

I started over with New Game + which is cool because you keep most of your items, materia, and your level. I'm looking forward to blowing through the game at level 57. :D

All in all, FF: Crisis Core is a great game, and I definitely recommend it for anyone who has a PSP. ^_^

I'd give it about a 9.5 out of 10. The only thing that bugged me about it was the loading times sometimes.
 
Oh my goodness what a killer game. I would be hard pressed to find a game that better delivered on the emotional impact at the end. Listening to the music again makes me feel so depressed,and I'm not one to get all sappy over a game. Wow. I'm so impressed with what they did with the story.

Zach's death ... watching poor Cloud's wracked body being dragged through Nibelheim ... poor little Aerith.(btw Mai, I'm soooo glad they changed the voice actress) And with it all the sense of impending tragedy, knowing the hell that will be these characters lives for a number of years.

It was just mournful. Thanks alot Square, I'll bill you for the therapy. ;)
 
I really like Zack. He's just such a neat character.

Cissnei was also interesting, though. I wish Square Enix would bring Before Crisis (the cell-phone only FFVII spin-off) over here onto the PSP so we could play as the Turks.
 
Yeah, it's awesome. You can get some neat ones that way. It's always a good idea to master as much materia as you can because they produce better results. ^_^
 
Yes, I got this game for my PSP. A lot of people have been saying that the new battle system ruins it, but I think it's what makes it better. This is a great game, and really fun. I have one complaint though, Sephiroth, angeal, and genesis are too emo. It's just a petty complaint though, nothing that makes an effect on the overall game.
 
Just got this game. I'm not that far into it. Only into the part with the 2 bosses with the axes? I died once but I need to try again.

Yuffie is soooo cute. @_@ Still.
