Final Fantasy X

I'm not really that fond of FFX. I didn't find the game fun in the slightest and I got quite frustrated from time to time. Not to say it's a horrible game, because it's not. I just didn't enjoy it as much as I did with previous installments. I actually prefer FFX-2, and that's usually the other way around from what I've noticed with others. :p

Wow, that is a big shocker, you don't hear that very often....

I like Final Fantasy 10 the best. My favorite team is Wakka, Tidus, and Auron. I'm not really a big magic user and I barely used Yuna at all. I absolutely LOVE blitzball though. IMO they ruined blitzball in 10-2.
 
ffx is my favourite ps2 rpg.. anyone played the international version, where you can fight dark aeon.. and penance.. they are very tough, if you don't have the right equipment and high stats.. they can kill your whole party in a few turns.
 
I have Final Fantasy X but I have never played it to the end. I always get far, and then put it down. I really should try to beat it soon.
 
where had you stopped at ?? tidus and kimari ultimate weapon is the hardest to get.. i hate the 2 miningames in ffx which is the chocobo racing which you need to get a time better than 0.00 secs.. which is negative, you gotta dodge the stupid birds which are flying towards you and also try to get as many balloon as possible and as hard as hell. squarenix had made me hate chocobo to the core, the other mini game which is touching all the blue butterfly within time limit and at same time avoid red ones, if you touch the red ones, you will go into battle wasting more time. ffx sure had the hardest sidequest/minigame ever..
 
I actually didnt get that far. All I remember is I was on a ship. lol

I got a demo from Sony the one day and when I played it, it deleted all my saves. I havent created a new FFX game since then.
 
oh you should get ffx..international version if possible.. althought its very exp since its a imported game. around $80.
 
well the main difference is the original grid system and international grid system with some new abiilities that can be learned only on international version and also the dark aeons and penance boss which i had mentioned in my earlier post.. if you want challenges go for the international version.
 
So far the only thing I hate about FFX is the stupid blitzball game. Is there a way to beat it?? Or is it a losing battle from the get-go??
 
Yes, you can beat that first blitzball match. It's more luck than anything (since none of your team has any skills or levels). The prize is pretty nice too; I think it was a magic+3 sphere. I spent 30 hours playing blitzball and my team was unstopable!!!! Mwahahahahahahahaha!

make sure tidus learn the jecht shot. so that you can beat the first blitzball match with more ease.
 
I think one of the best parts of this game is blitzball. I can't even remember the last time I lost a match, or even the last time someone scored on me.

The last time I played the score was 4-3 I think. I can get goals but I always give up goals too... :-\
 
well I do think blitzball is a pretty neat and interesting side game, but I do understand how you find it frustrating....
