umm it's Sonic.

secret rings was a step on the right direction(only problem being annoying soundtrack) and rush adventure ended up feeling like the genesis ones so if the guy from rush adventure is working on the wii version there's possibility for it to be good

Let's not get our hopes up guys...

We have had high hopes for all of them that have come out.

only sonic that truly dissapointed me so far are shadow and sonic 360/ps3 nothing else (heroes was ok)

Let the pessimists roll! :lol

This looks good to me...ahem...to ME. Can't wait to pick it up for the PS3 when it hits the store shelves.

So, when you're fast, it has slowdown, the platforming isn't really good, and there's still a werewolf. Eeeehhhh.

The engine they're using has been in development for over several years, and that's not taking into account how excellent Sonic Team has been doing.

But yeah, just because the engine's there, doesn't mean much. The game's still in development. Working out all the glitches and such....but to each their own. ;)

I know. They've been doing great lately! :D

Well, it's got a late 08 release, so that doesn't give them as much time as you'd think.

And can you even name two good Sonic Team Sonic games that have come out lately?

Simma down there fhq. I'm just a Sonic fan, staying optimistic. ;)

I'm not overreacting, I was pointing out they have about six months left and asked if you could name two good Sonic related Sonic Team games.

I think in six months they can fix the bugs. And Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 come to mind. :)

May not be recent, but I don't need recent. Especially since this game was originally planned as Sonic Adventure 3.

Discussing their recent showings require recent games.

To quote some other person:
They said Sonic Heroes would be like the classics, with its stages divided into acts and more focus on going forward at all times. It turned out to be even slower than the Adventure titles, with a wonky teamwork system and some incredible repetition when it came to completing the game with each team.

They said SONIC THE HEDGEHOG would be like the classics, by capitalizing its name that shares identicality to the Genesis classic. What it turned into was Sonic Adventure when you take out the things that Sonic Adventure actually did right, with the addition of ridiculous new knock-off characters and quite possibly the most glitches I've seen in a game this generation or the last.

They said Sonic & the Secret Rings would be like the classics, with its exclusive focus on speed with an always-moving Sonic. Instead, it turned into a nightmarish experience where you actually have to EARN decent control, accompanied by some indredibly idiotic and repetitive missions with an obnoxious soundtrack to boot.
So, yeah.

So, yeah.

You have to rmember that these arent the same guys. These are the guys that did the DS Sonic games, giving a shot at a 3D Sonic game, more or less.

I say give them a chance. People just look down on Sonic now that his past games have only been half-decent.

I still say they let Nintendo take a stab at the guy and see what they come up with. Though that would likely make the guys at Seag feel like crap when another company can make a better game using another companies mascot.

Um, no, I'm talking the Sonic Team 360/PS3 versions, not the Dimps Wii one.
