I just picked this up along with COD3, which I'm going to play the latter first. I'll get back to you guys about them :) I'm playing COD3 first because I think I'm gonna like Gears of War more, and I don't want to ruin COD.

Yeah, I was bummed at work today because my coworkers were gushing about Gears of War and I haven't been able to pick it up because I had to have some work done on my car. Booo. But the repairs costed less than I thought, so I'll probably pick up GoW next paycheck.

I second that. I have the collector's edition and I haven't even ventured into the multiplayer yet. I played 6 straight hours of the champaign today. My roommate's friend went out and got it jus from watchin me. I have one on hold for my roommate so we're waking up to pick it up tomorrow morning.

The video review is now out on IGN. Cant wait until i get this nxt week. Multi player is looking very promising.

I swear to god, I'm going to puke if I have to hear about this game again. Today on my first day at my new job, the employees talked about it for 6 damn hours straight man...I'm about to lose my marbles for godsakes!
 
quick question. Has anybody here played Killswitch? I heard the whole mechanics and gameplay is similar. I also heard it's better in certain ways. Can anyone confirm?

Killswitch has similar mechanics, but it is not as good. If you like Gears, you may like Killswitch though.
 
I might get this game today. Its between this and Fifa.
I know, I know, i probably should get this, its just I have this urge to get a new soccer game. I dont know why....
