The trick to killing Raam. Make sure you have the crossbow that has exploding ammo equipped and the sniper rifle. When the battle begins, tell Dom to cease fire so he won't run up and get himself killed. Take cover behind the first part of rubble. When you get a clear shot, aim at him with the crossbow and fire. When the arrow explodes, the nemacysts surrounding RAAM will fly off. This is your chance to pull out your sniper rifle and sneak in a head shot or two. Just make sure you stay in the light so the nemacysts don't make you a quick dinner. If you keep repeating this tactic, you'll get a very rewarding ending.
Hope that helped.
neogeofl said:Thanks. The thing that pisses me off the most about this game is that they made the A Button the same for run as for evade and for taking cover. When you want to run and start, if there is a wall or anything by you the idiot takes cover instead of running. That was a boneheaded developer move that kinda ruins the game.
To me, COD3 is a much better game because of that and the controller issues.
Strubes said:Actually, this is the first time I'm hearing of Gears of War control issues. I guess it's jus a lil harder for you to get used to than the rest. Hmm, I don't want another WWII game. Maybe when it's cheaper, I'll try COD3.
BV. This game takes innovation, graphics, and gameplay to the next level and puts a major foothold on 360 team-oriented game play. Basically, everything I thought that made a good game was put into this.

Also, I just beat him. The bow worked best! Thanks!
