GOW plus the COD games plus Oblivion are worth the 360 blue. I've logged lots of game time on it to justify the price. $400 isn't so bad when you compare with the $600. :)

I agree. Oblivion alone is a good and justifiable reason to buy a 360

I love the game (well watching other people beat the campaign with ultimate teamwork), I think it is the best 360 and Xbox game to date.

Is the multiplayer really that great? I still haven't played it yet, but my brother plays it online all the time.

I haven't played it either. If you've done single player you know how the mechanics work though. I could see it being fun.

I have but have only played offline so far, I actually don't see why this game gets all the hype - multiplayer must be AMAZING cuz i'm not that into this game and find myself always wanting to play something else, but I'm not much into shooters

I've heard rumors of a $100 price drop before Christmas... so I'll at least wait for the price drop :)

I really think this game is over-rated. It's good in its own little way, but to me, it's just meh...

Exactly how i feel... but i do need to play online sometime though, even though i would just get schooled like in GRAW
 
Can't wait to play this game. I've sort of got it as a Xmas gift for myself. Me and my roommate are going to play it on Xmas day on co-op. Sounds amazing. Oh, and the UK OXM only gave it 9/10. I guess we're just more picky across the pond. Apparently, they took a point off 'cos there's a sh*t vehicle section where you have to stop and use a spotlight to protect yourself. Do people know what I mean?
 
Yea i know the part, but i did it with my brother and he shot them while i spotlighted and drove

Yeah that was sort of a retarded idea. :lol Now that I've beat it, I personally give this game an 8 / 10 at best, but I don't they should've knocked off that much for that little section.
 
The vehicle section was probably one of the most fun my and my buddy had in the game. They probably didn't like the part because it was too hard for them.

:lol Overrated? That is ludicrous. It lived up to the hype around it, something few games ever do. It has a great, fun, campaign that is fully playable with online and offline co-op; and fast, furious, strategic multiplayer.
