well too bad psp is...............a terrible console.


lol i kid. but seriously..will it be a remake? if so...then its the usual psp fare i suppose.
 
Well, it looks like the PSP will finally have a game that is worth playing for more than 30 minutes.
 
PSP is the only system I own and there is no way Ill get to play all the good games on it. No matter what system you own the market is saturated with great games.

Very true. Especially with the PS2. It has an endless supply of RPG's.

I can't agree here when using the name PSP.  I own one and around 10 games... I truely enjoy 6 of the games.

BUT... that's about it.  I've played a lot of PSP stuff too... and the SOCOM games revived my PSP from the grave...  no joke.  I am not saying there aren't a lot of decent games on it... but truely good games, are hard to find for the system.

BWT - I just got Sid Meier's Pirates! for the PSP in the Game Addiction Online Store... I am seriously thinking of picking that up for the PSP.

I have to disagree. If you own just one system like the PSP then no they are not saturated. Yes there are great games, but not saturated. The Jaguar, GameCube, Virtual Boy, and Sega Saturn all come to mind also.
 
Whoa this seems like it could be quite phenomenal I was watching reviews of the console game and it is quite involving, if I must say.. I might be lead to get this if they tone down the puzzles and violence.
 
Well are they at least going to add extra stuff? Why would any sane person buy a PSP game that will likely be $40 if it's a port of a PS2 game that came out more than a few years ago and can be purchased for $20?

I need more details! :D
 
I don't have any details on what the game itself will be. Doing a port from the PS2 would be a mistake though. The game needs to be built for the PSP spec and controlls to play well.

All I know is this is going to a be a completely new story. Lol I'll try to find out some more.
 
At a God of War launch event last night God of War director Cory Barlog said "It is its own story that connects to the overall story. God of War, God of War 2, and then if all the stars align God of War 3 will be the telling of a trilogy. This PSP story will be a further fleshing out."
