I swear to god this is the last time I ever buy a PC game
The first game I recently tried getting for my PC was Nexus, I highly graphically inducing game, the video card requiring around 128 MB or so. I admit my mistake in buying it after finding out my computers card is only 32 MB, so I return it.
Just recently today, I bought Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. It says on the side that I need:
32 MB or greater hardware transform & lighting capable video card, including the ATI Radeon or Geforce 2 or higher (64 MB Hardware T&L capable video card recommended)
Now I find out my 32 MB card doesn't work, because it's not one of these 2 brand name cards. Do all games now require a card from these 2 companies now? I find it utterly annoying that I need a BRAND NAME card to get 2 year old game to work.
