I'm on World of Warcraft! woot!

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Today at work, my boss returned from her Vegas business trip and she gave me a couple of goodies. Including a FREE full verison of WORLD OF WARCRAFT! I heard some good about this, but HOLY COW! I never played a game like this and now Im glued lol!

Is anyone else playing this??
 
I wanted to, but I didnt want to pay the monthly fee. Then I bought Guild Wars and Im hooked on that. So how do you like it? What character did you make? I had a free demo but the dvd wouldnt work, so supposedly they are sending a new one (that was a month ago) lol
 
I made a Dwarf named "Gaudo"...I'm having a blast...I thought I was gonna get bored, yet now I face a bigger problem...I cannot put the game down! lol

I want to try this game out so badly. I know I will like it and it will probably devour all of my time.
 
Thats exactly why I want to try it out for myself. I wish I had that stupid free trial working. The dumb dvd wont work.... >:(
 
odd, because the full verison I have isnt a DVD disc, it's just a normal CD that can work on Windows or Macintosh. Probably explains why my copy came in 5 disc

I really think a universal change from CD's to DVD's is necessary. I mean, Winter Assault is a 2 disk Expansion Pack to a 3 disc game. Rome: Total War was 3 or 4, I forget.

plus my bro said that it isn't that good online

Well I noticed Night Elves are the most popular. Yet I'm in the Dwarf realm, so go fig.

As for Job Class: Rogues, Paladins, and Mages are the most popular too.

I took the Warrior route, because I just like having the heavy weapons and I'm mainly a melee kind of guy :) Strong and fearsome!

$30? I pay $14.99 a month, you must have gotten ripped off. Your bro is a monkey, he only says that to get out of buying the game :p
 
my demo was on a dvd, Im not sure what the actual game is on. I wish they had a free demo you could download and just try out for a day. It could be on a special server or something. It would definitley cause more people to buy the game if they could try it out first.
 
hmm, odd indeed. yet an "Online" only demo would be nice. Yet I honestly say the full game gives you the full deal.

you might pay $14:99 but u don't live in australia like me so here it cost $30 a month
