well i have a wii but thats my only new generation console at the moment, and i figured who betetr to aks then you guys what should my next be the ps3 or the 360? (wasnt sure where to put this)

So? All the consoles last about the same time. Neither is gonna fail, so they'll either last as long as every other console, or longer.

shooters are really starting to grow on me im leaning twords 360 alot more now, thanks guys (and does anyone play halo 3 anymore)

A few people play Halo 3, but it got outclassed really fast.

Yes. I'm probably one of the most compulsive Halo 3 players on this site.

But with the PSN, you won't have little moronic kids talkin' crap and being annoying like you have with Xbox LIVE.
 
Tough call. I'd probably lean for the 360, though. Simply because it already has a great lineup of games, and you know there will be plenty more good games to come. I can't really recommend, or not recommend the PS3, as I do not know much about it and heck, I don't even know how many versions there are now. Kinda hard to recommend when I don't even know that! :P

Yeah, but while the 360 leads in shooters, the PS3 isn't exactly lacking with them.
 
i think vie made my decision


im going with PS3
-free online
-blu ray player
-gunan last longer than the xbox 360 (it just came out)
-it shares titles with 360 anyways
-no annoying little kids

That's not necessarily true. Unless Microsoft is going to rush another console out early, they'll all last the same time. But still, good choice.
